Ask about your data.
Account export, memory controls, Trash and a formal privacy request serve different purposes.
Updated:
Choose the request and verify control
Choose Privacy or deletion request in Contact and requests. Explain whether you seek access, correction, restriction, deletion or account closure and identify the relevant content. Sign in when possible to link the request to your account. A guest private link proves access to the request, not ownership of an account; further verification may be needed.
Existing account controls
Account settings provide a data export. The export contains records and media metadata; protected links are not an offline media backup. Clearing character memory is separate from deleting a conversation. Moving content to Trash prevents its normal display and can be reversed.
Deletion, closure and backups
Submitting a request does not automatically close an account or permanently erase files. Trash is not automatically emptied. Administrators must verify the scope and explain what can be done, any records that need to be retained and the handling of backups. A complete automatic account-erasure process and fixed deletion deadlines are not currently provided.
Replies and safe information
Read and answer questions through your private request page. Do not initially send identity documents, login credentials or another person’s private material. The responsible operator, processing grounds, full retention schedule and location-specific rights still need formal publication in the privacy notice.
